United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon: Mobi-Station helps education
Few days ago, the United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon visited UNICEF’s innovation department to hear the global job deployment in 2015. HiteVision and UNICEF’s cooperated public welfare project, Mobi-Station, get secretary-general’s high attention and recognition.
United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon realized Mobi-Station’s operation status at UNICEF’s New York office. UNICEF’s member, Zhiyao Ma, explained the design idea and application scene for secretary-general. This moveable classroom was designed and produced by HiteVision. By gathering laptop, low voltage projector, document camera and audio equipment into a suitcase, use solar power to break away from electricity. Besides, Mobi-Station stores huge books, class material, videos inside, use projector to project on the classroom blackboard or some temporary space, it solve the short of education source at poverty area, it can also used for medical training device or emergent assist.
UNICEF also mentioned: Mobi-Station was designed by HiteVision and used well in Uganda’s children education and medical training. HiteVision with keep working with UNICEF to make Mobi Station more perfect.
Meanwhile, the 《Convention on the Rights of the Child，CRC》has established for 25 years, Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon emphasized that even the children situation at remote area improve recently, the whole circumstances is still severe. People need to unite more power to boost children’s rights. Along with a company plays more important role at social development; we need more concern companies to affect children’s right. At the end of the visit, UNICEF prepare a special present for Secretary-general — a (Star Wars): （Force For Change）limited T-shirt. The Force For Change activity was held by Star Wars cast and crew at May 2014 and was very easy to join by donating money to UNICEF and win the chance to act in the movie. That activity lasted for 3 months and received more than 120 countries’ fans support. Donation was used to assist projects those change children education such as HiteVision’s Mobi-Station. It is heard Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon is the big fans or Star War and also “Force For Change”’s important supporter.
“Love helps education, innovation changes future.” UNICEF announce at 2015 “The State of the World’s Children” to make innovation as main method to solve children problems. United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon also made speech at Switzerland about Global economy and high technique could cease poverty and starvation.
